8. A vessel is in the form of hemispherical bowl, is full of water. Its contents are emptied in a right circular cylinder. The internal radii of the bowl and the cylinder are 3.5 cm and 7 cm respectively. Find the height to which water will rise in the cylinder.


9. What is the least number of solid metallic spheres of 6 cm in diameter that should be melted and recast to form a solid metal cylinder whose height is 45 cm and diameter 4cm.


10. Earth taken out of digging a circular tank of diameter 17.5 m, is spread all around the tank uniformly to a width of 4 m, to form an embankment of height 2m. Calculate the depth of the circular tank correct to two decimal places.
